Elm Lodge care home in Chesterfield

Elm Lodge care home in Chesterfield has been acquired by new operators in a sale handled by specialist care property consultant HPC. Elm Lodge is a purpose built facility which provides 40 places for elderly residents with dementia. The home, which is located in the Newbold area of Chesterfield, has been bought by an existing care home operator, Reason Care Limited.

HPC Director, Ian Wilkie, who handled the sale commented "Elm Lodge has been owned by a group operator for many years and had only become available as part of a strategic restructuring of the group."

He added "it was imperative for our clients that the sales process was handled confidentially and that the welfare of the residents and staff was paramount at all times. I am pleased to confirm that the brief was fulfilled and that we were able to introduce an experienced operator to take on the home."

The acquisition of the Derbyshire based Elm Lodge will complement Reason Care’s existing operations in Nottinghamshire.
