HPC has acted for the vendors in the sale of Apple Tree Care Home in Strensall, York. The privately owned care home is formed of an original property which has been significantly extended and refurbished. There is also a separate building which serves as a day care centre on the substantial plot.
Apple Tree had been owned and operated by the vendors, Gill and Tony Conroy, for 20 years, and the home has now been sold due to them reducing their involvement in care home operation. The home has been acquired by a private company, CFP Care Ltd., which also owns and operates other care homes in the region.
The sale was handled by HPC Director Ian Wilkie, who commented, “The home has benefitted over the years from the direct input and involvement of the owners, reflected in a high standard of care and excellent occupancy rates. We have worked with Gill and Tony now for over three years, and we are pleased to have successfully concluded the sale of Apple Tree on their behalf.”
