Terry Peel, CEO, HICA Group“We would like to extend our gratitude to Ian Wilkie of HPC for his invaluable guidance in navigating the complexities of the healthcare property sector”
Acting on behalf of HICA Group, HPC has sold Raleigh Court in Hull and The Anchorage in Grimsby to established operator, Lotus Care (North) Ltd.
Having run a discreet but competitive process, HPC secured a number of bids at Indicative and Best & Final offer stages, resulting in the ultimate sale to Lotus Care.
Terry Peel, HICA CEO, said: “It was an extremely difficulty decision however, we considered a range of potential new owners and we are confident that our HICA philosophy will be upheld by Lotus Care with them continuing the person centred, professional standard of care that we at HICA always uphold. We would also like to thank Lotus Care and wish them every success for the future”
HPC Director Ian Wilkie, who handled the sale, commented, "I would like to thank our client, HICA Group, for choosing HPC to run this process and we extend our best wishes to Lotus Care for the future trading of the homes". He added, "This is another deal which underscores HPC’s expertise and experience in the social care sector".
Terry Peel concluded: “We would like to extend our gratitude to Ian Wilkie of HPC for his invaluable guidance in navigating the complexities of the healthcare property sector, and to Marcus Armstrong and the dedicated team at Brabners solicitors for their exceptional support and expertise throughout the sale process. Their collective efforts have played a pivotal role in making this sale a reality.”
