HPC On Stage at 2022 Awards

We are delighted to have sponsored the 2022 LaingBuisson Large Residential Care Award

HPC Directors Ian Wilkie and Nigel Newton Taylor joined around 1,000 guests at the 2022 LaingBuisson Awards in London. HPC sponsored the Large Residential Care award, recognising excellence in residential or nursing care for older people, with a focus on innovation and engagement with service users within a larger organisation. Ian joined the hosts, actresses and comedians Sally Phillips and Ronni Ancona, on stage to present the award to proud winners, Ideal Care Homes.

Recognised as one of the most prestigious ceremonies in the sector, this was the 17th year for the awards, which focus on those providing care and accommodation, as well as their advisors. The 2022 event took place once again within sight of the Houses of Parliament, at the Park Plaza on Westminster Bridge. The celebrity hosts, known collectively for numerous TV and film appearances, entertained a capacity guest list. Also on hand was former Secretary of State for Health, Stephen Dorrell.

This is the fifth successive year HPC has sponsored the awards. Ian Wilkie commented, “At HPC we recognise the huge contribution that larger providers make to social care in the UK and we were proud to sponsor the awards once again. Many congratulations to the winners, Ideal Care Homes and all the finalists, whose nominations reflect hard work and dedication across the sector.”
