HPC Back on Stage for the 2023 Awards

We are delighted to have sponsored the 2023 LaingBuisson Excellence in Large Residential Care Award

HPC Directors Ian Wilkie and Nigel Newton Taylor joined around 1,000 guests at the 2023 LaingBuisson Awards in London. HPC sponsored the Excellence in Large Residential Care award, recognising excellence in residential or nursing care for older people, with a focus on innovation and engagement with service users within a larger organisation. Ian joined the host, actor and comedian Hugh Dennis, on stage to present the award to this year's winners, Orchard Care Homes.

Recognised as one of the most prestigious ceremonies in the sector, this was the 18th year for the awards, which focus on those providing care and accommodation, as well as their advisors. The 2023 event took place once again within sight of the Houses of Parliament, at the Park Plaza on Westminster Bridge. The celebrity host, known for numerous TV panel, comedy and drama appearances, entertained a packed venue.

This is the sixth successive year HPC has sponsored the awards. Ian Wilkie commented, “At HPC we work closely with many larger providers and recognise the contribution they make to social care in the UK, so we were proud to sponsor this award once again. Many congratulations to the winners, Orchard Care Homes and all the finalists, whose nominations continue to reflect hard work and dedication across the sector.”
